Scantrahison

  Anthropology of the iconographic material present in the mangas broadcast on FuryoSquad, Scantrahison constitutes a visual investigation on the stakes of the scanlation of furyos and underground mangas.
    An editorial attempt on the alteration of the meaning produced during the operations of translation within a sub-genre of mangas built from a discussion. A mechanical work of selection, sampling, editing and ink drawing of images originally intended to situate stories spatio-temporally.

226 pages, art size (21 x 28 cm), laser printed mock-up and online readable files, french and english language.

Iso A4 and A3, indian ink drawings on paper machine & 44 x 33 x 5 cm, plasma-cut steel hanging supports, arc welding and cylindrical magnets.
